The Lion Eats Tonight or Mexican Jack’s Guide to Big Game Hunting in Africa was written by Howard Whitehouse. And if you know anything about Howard, you know he takes an irreverent approach to miniature games.
With this title, Howard takes on Big Game Hunting. Players control hunters (and if no game master than the prey(?) as well). Their goal is to bag the biggest and baddest of the African fauna, all while looking dapper and keeping a stiff upper lip. The rules are very quick an easy to play with a game finishing in an hour to 90 minutes.
Howard also provides some brief notes on hunters of note during the Victorian era as well as some of the guns preferred by big game hunters.
